I am first and foremost a creative, with a mind that wants to build what I create. I like to be able to express my designs with the code in mind, and to collaborate with developers to build a product or service with an agile and well planned methodology.
I provide everything from imagination to documentation, sketchy designs, wireframes, high fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, UIKits and technical specifications for development. Recently, I have been focusing on front-end development via courses in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
I like to start thinking about a solution before I put anything down in black and white.
With pencil and paper or markers and a whiteboard I like to quickly sketch my ideas down in a team environment. This allows me to quickly analyize my thoughts and get immediate feedback from the team.
Dependent on the front-end dev environment being used, I can jump into the mindset of the developers in order to create UI component specific designs, minified SVG icons and other assets that provide for lightning-fast design integration.
Of course, this is all part of the bigger picture. I have delivered a wider range of branding materials including logos, taglines, online ad planning with SEO, banners and traditional marketing assets.
